Reverse graffiti.
Instead of using actual spray cans, some artist are just cleaning dirt off of certain areas to make their masterpieces. And they are calling it reverse graffiti. Kind of brilliant.

This frog found its way on the other side of my window a few minutes ago. Spotting it, I instinctively reach for the camera and capture some 35 pictures from my side of the window pane, resulting in some pretty unconventional angles. For some reason, the little guy never moved through the whole ‘pictorial,’ just kept still, sliding slowly down the smooth glass until now.

When a figure becomes larger than life, it can be hard to believe that he or she will ever truly die. That’s why photographic evidence of a notorious person’s end has taken on such importance since the 20th century. In the case of Osama bin Laden, killed by U.S. Navy SEALs on May 1, 2011, President Barack Obama’s decision not to release the photos of bin Laden’s body seems to against historical precedent.

For example, (pictured above) Joseph Stalin (born Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili), the powerful and unscrupulous successor to Lenin who earned his nom de guerre as the “man of steel,” died suddenly in 1953 of what was probably either a cerebral hemorrhage or poison. His body was embalmed and placed next to Lenin’s for public viewing until 1961, when it was removed and buried outside the Kremlin as the USSR underwent de-Stalinization under Nikita Khruschev.
