Frankly, I’m inspired.

I’ve been on an online hiatus for months. Six months, to be exact.

-ish.

To put it forward, the reason why I fell out of all of my online activities six months ago was that I didn’t feel any indication that I was heard. I had no reason to go out there anymore.

Soon, I started to lie low. All of the three main platforms I had once nestled into soon became empty, save for that occasional status update or those unfulfilled promises to come back. Take into account my reputation for being the occasional recluse (thank you very much), and you have me out, only daring to come back for necessities such as Soc Sci Powerpoints.

That is, until last week. I won’t dwell on the events that transpired that gloomy Tuesday morning before the height of typhoon Juan, but it is these events that caused me to break my silence and return to the online fad that is social networking. And it took a lot of work rebuilding what I left behind.

Take Tumblr, for instance. I’m not too fond of any of my previous sham postings, and took the time to delete them all, allowing for a complete reboot of the site. Sure, this broke some reblogs, yet I doubt that these would go a long way, also considering the fact that most of them are a year old. Things that old just don’t linger anymore. Oh well.

I just hope that I be able to keep it at this. I enjoy it, for one. Maybe I’ve just been a tad too lonely.

Inspired? Very well, yes.
